Is there psychology behind not liking people to send you money that aren’t immediate family? My boyfriend js sent me 10 dollars to buy my sister candy and he said get me something too. Like I told him it was 2 dollars 😭

Feeling like you’re taking advantage financially. We all understand the struggles of making and keeping $$ - so it comes as a shock when others are forthcoming with $$. I’m the same way OP

I understand it’s just 10 dollars but still, like he’s alr buying plane tickets and spending so much money to see me and buy me nice things and won’t let me help. So 10 extra dollars is the extra cherry on top. 😭

Depends who you’re asking. $10 means a lot to people even if it’s a relatively small amount
