not a hot take. if u don't remove ur child from the place they're screaming in then ur a bad parent, unless ofc it's a plane or other transportation u can't get off of

i mostly agree with this but it’s not always that easy. yes you can sometimes remove them from the situation but not always, and telling a 3 year old to stop screaming doesn’t work. we’re entitled to child free lives not a child free world

girl that applies to children being present in spaces and running around, if your child is SCREAMING, they don't need to be in public. keeping them in the place and not making them leave when they scream in public is teaching them that screaming is ok

i agree! if your children are going to frequently be in public spaces they should learn to behave! but sometimes well behaved children throw tantrums and that is very difficult for a parent to deal with. i just don’t think we need to shame moms even more because their child acts like a child sometimes

i think it’s incredibly annoying when children throw tantrums in public and i wish they didn’t. but i also know that as a child i occasionally threw a fit in public because it happens

i mean ya if the parent can get the tantrum under control then by all means stay where u are, but if it's been 5 mins and ur kid is still screaming/throwing a tantrum then they do not need to be in public. it's bad parenting to not remove ur screaming child and take them away to be talked to and calm down
