it says that you’re strong and you love yourself. reading some of that i’m glad you’re making this decision to protect yourself and doing what you need to get to that point

Wait you don’t need to say all that - he slapped you. Don’t be vulnerable with abusers. I’m so sorry you’re going through this and I know it’s so hard but please consider a less risky exit strategy. People who hit people are also often manipulative and will use your weakness against them. It sends a stronger message and is less difficult to argue with “you hit me, we can’t be together”
