im talking to someone who has a girl best friend and he was talking abt how his toxic ex made him cut her and all his other friends off to be with her and it just makes me so sad for him. i cant imagine telling someone to cut ppl off unless it seemed like they were hiding them from me or making me uncomfortable w the closeness of the friendship

Yeah my ex and I got to a place where we could genuinely be friends after our break up. All I wanted to do was text him once a month to see how he was doing, share life updates, and follow him on instagram. But his new girlfriend (who literally was friends with both of us for two years) made him go no contact with me for the rest of college because she said it was “inappropriate”. Mind you I already had another man.
