I chew gum in between meals. It helps me not snack as much.
Load up on veg and workout b4 eating protein heavy meals (this helps build muscle which increases your TDEE).

Ya beat me to it! Gun is exactly what I was going to say. I realized a while back it’s not that my body wants food, it just wants chewing and flavor.
