okay on a serious note, if you're genuinely worried about it set out ethical rat traps.

they're actually very clean and get a poor stigma. if you notice signs they're in ur place do catch and release traps and take them very far away from ur place to release because otherwise they may find a way back

Anonymousellie13w
its not about them being dirty ๐ญ they just make me so uncomfortable, it's like a borderline phobia

oh yeah i can see how this would be lowkey terrifying ๐ฌ
luckily the signs of rats being in ur place should be fairly noticeable. we had a few make it into my childhood home a while ago and noticed almost instantly.

i think u should be a little worried yeah. if ur noticing a bunch like right next to ur place its reasonable to be concerned. i'd probably politely ask ur neighbor to take down the feeder. once rats find a steady food source they tend to stick around

also if u can a cat would probably be a pretty good deterrent. if u have a cat u should be chill

my old landlord had a cat and ive seen another cat and a racoon (i think they eat them?) that like to roam around here but i haven't seen either of the two in a hot minute and my old landlord left ๐ญi lowkey think they're mice tho, they're way to small
