diva. use flash cards. use a buddy. use a white board. a youtube video. an old quizlet. a study group. the textbook. kahn academy. office hours. rewriting your notes. putting your notes in comic sans and going through and adding emojis to them. i know you mean well, but we made it all through high school and middle school studying the old fashioned way and it worked, and you retained the knowledge better.

I can upload my notes and study guides to ChatGPT, in response it can analyze them and create quizzes based on each section. I’ve found the flash memorization to be more useful than any other format of studying. I love practice quizzes

I make quizlets and I take notes and show up to class and do my shit :( ai just helps me retain it all with practice quizzes, it doesn’t pull from the internet if i say to only use what i sent it, and it uses what i sent it to give me word for word rationales and explanations. I’m sorry i like ai. I get good grades with my techniques :/

I never once studied through middle and high school I’d like to also say :/ I was always lowkey smart but lazy. So to have ai around that helps me retain in ways that’s easy for me, I may as well utilize my resources than get burnt out trying to do things how I used to

it’s not really about it pulling from the internet. you’re PROVIDING it with more knowledge by feeding it your material. you’re also inadvertently giving in personal information by saying you have tests on certain dates in certain topics, which it can use to pinpoint what age you are and what you’re in school for. ALSO each chatgpt prompt takes GALLONS of fresh water from impoverished b neighborhoods. you could achieve the same thing from physical flashcards. do it yourself

Same. My professor literally told us to use it and that they generate their test questions from it. My entire cohort uses it.

okay and that’s also ridiculous. i know someone sued her professor for using chat gpt and demanded a refund for the cost of the class, but they refused to refund her. why on earth am i paying for a degree when the professor is using ai

It really helps so I kinda like that they use it. Theres not a lot of free services to use for NCLEX style questions.
