I saw a TikTok talking about what our mothers and grandmothers could have become if they hadn’t gotten married and had kids so young. This is awful to say but I find it hard to feel bad for my mom and grandmas bc they have been pressuring me to get-

Married and have kids since I graduated high school. When I went to college they saw it more as a way for me to meet a rich man to marry. Graduated single and they were pissed. Told them I got into grad school and they told me they “need babies.”

If I talk about traveling or moving away or anything they get mad at me. They don’t want me to experience life. They quite literally just want me to lose my identity to becoming a wife and mother and I cannot understand why they’d prefer that life for me
