Real question, what’s meant by that? I’m a guy who wants to have kids of his own one day, and I’m constantly thinking about what is the right way to love and support my daughter if I have one. Like, does he treat you too much like he would a boy, or is it the expectations he puts on you? I don’t want to make these mistakes.

It’s basically when a dad places all the expectations and stuff they would have had on a son on the (usually) oldest daughter, essentially treating them like a son.

As a female son, I’m having a good time bc I’m lwk a tomboy and my dad respects that I’m am still girl and like girly things too. In term of support, I think it’s best to make sure as a dad you actually connect with your daughter and understand her, not just projecting what you wanted in a son. It’s also a spectrum and not everyone has the same experiences, this is just mine.
