even if you say you’re a virgin legally they have to show that they tested for it, especially if you need x-rays. if someone was pregnant and didn’t know and something happened to the fetus bc of the hospital they could be sued! it’s literally just for legal protection

Yeah it could also cause the staff to not take you as seriously sadly. Coming from shared experience it’s tiring trying to argue with the doctor on the validity of being a virgin bc for some reason they get very condescending and suspicious of you.

i think it depends bc i’ve had the hospital ask for urine sample to check if i was pregnant and i said no that’s not possible and they were like ok cool

yeah but they asked and bc of that they could write that you refused treatment. so in the event something DID happen you wouldn’t be able to sue bc they offered to test, and you said no
