except he doesn’t get riled up i do bc what are they gonna do when you aren’t living at home anymore? are they still gonna call and ask you to do this? are you going to if they do?

So my bfs brother couldn’t find a job or an internship, btw I as a girl got a job my first year on campus, then when my parents allowed me to get a real job I worked at the hospital I was born in. The fact that his brother couldn’t even get a min wage job and he is 22 is insane because him and my bf are expected to be basically retirement funds for their parents (it’s normal in our culture my dad did it as well for his parents). It’s just that things hit me hard and I don’t want my bf to resent

I get what you mean. My bfs dad has never been in the picture and he’s the oldest son so he’s lowkey expected to take up that role that a father would. like he’s had to revolve his work schedule around picking up and dropping off his little brother at school (he’s 13 and goes to a school 30 minutes away) bc his mom won’t let his liltle brother take the bus but was fine with my bf taking the bus at that age

Me cuz of the issue he got going at home. Like okay it’s also the fact that his sister is the reason why they spend so much damn money. I was born and raised in ny and his sister got into pa school in ny and failed, they bought her a car for nyc. Then she put the heat so warm their bill went up and
