Tbh a normal 30 year old is not trying to date a 20 year old. Imagine yourself at 30, would you go after a 20 year old still in college?

please don’t do this. you’re technically an adult so yeah it’s not illegal but you’re both in VASTLY different stages of life and nothing about this is setting up to be a healthy relationship. no normal 30 year old wants to date a 20 year old

Once people are adults, age isn’t too important, BUT life stages and power balance are. You two are at vastly different life stages and likely very different financial situations and thinking levels. That puts you in a dangerous spot. Trust your gut and do not shoot your shot.

I don’t think he would actually want to date you. I’m 25 dating a 30yo and he is always like “you know, 2011, when we were 16 :) right :)” like y’all’s age difference is half your life it’s just not right

Girl you’re grown you don’t have to ask him out just give eye contact and smile. Don’t listen to these girls, get your man. 20 and 30 isn’t a very big age gap

I’m not 30 but I’m 25 and even now I wouldn’t do that. I’ve learned and changed so much as a person just in the 3 years I’ve been out of college, and only just now got my own insurance and all this other adult shit finally handled on my own, so I can’t honestly imagine dating someone who can’t even drink or rent a car yet, let alone all the other life milestones I’ve hit since 20

Was just about to comment this. I’m also 25 and I couldn’t picture myself dating someone who is 20. The number might not be a huge difference, but there is a huge difference in mentality and just stages of life

Okay I definitely wouldn’t go after a college student if I were 30, heck I wouldn’t even go after a freshman who’s 18/19. Thank you, this does change my perspective. He’s not it
