Any advice on quitting weed? I know there’s no withdrawals I just crave being high every single night now and ik it’s not normal or healthy. I used to only do it every other weekend or so but it’s gotten bad.

There are def withdrawals lol (I used to be high all day every day) but I feel so much better now that I’m sober I can think and have motivation to do things I do still crave it when I’m feeling irritable or sad but I can’t bc I have to keep my job

Marijuana isn’t chemically addictive, but anything that you use to self-soothe can create an addiction. You may still experience withdrawals but you don’t need to worry about them killing you. AKA it’ll suck but it’s safe to go cold turkey if you want. The basis of the addiction is a mental health issue. You need to figure out whats making you reach for pot for comfort rather than for fun and then work on that

there highkey are withdrawals. mood crash, nausea, fucked up dreams and insomnia, etc. i couldn’t eat for 3 weeks when i first quit a years-long heavy smoking habit. i didn’t think it would be like that, but after looking on reddit threads i realized i wasn’t alone. i honestly had to just power through it. it does get easier but you will still crave it. usually by the third month you’re out of the woods tho
