how do you go about telling someone (read: my sister) they need to size up in clothes 😔 everything just seems so mean to say and she’s incredibly sensitive, but all her clothes either make her booty or her boobs fall out
me personally i would leave that be, she probably knows or thinks she looks pretty

it’s also just hard bc she thinks she’s small than she is so when we go shopping in person and she grabs her “regular size” she gets upset when it doesn’t fit 💔 and i totally GET IT though bc i was in the same boat until a few months ago

You should start sneakily giving her sizes that you took the label out of and just say that it looks larger than it is

maybe make the focus on the clothes and not the size and she’ll get the hint? like hey i think the skirt is too short i can kinda see too much but it would be so cute if you found a longer one? im not sure tbh

i know and that’s why i feel like it’s so bitchy to say anything but it gets to a point 🥲 it also doesn’t help she’s in her 30s dressing like she’s still in her early 20s. it’s just a little… 💔

i’ve slowly started taking that approach but any time we suggest something a little longer she says we “want her to dress like a mormon” LOL and it’s like a fair concern bc all the women in my family are short, so longer sometimes makes us look shorter etc etc

yikes lol i mean if she is an adult there might not be anything you can do, but like there’s a difference between dressing like a Mormon and having your ass hanging out 😭
