like they want to desperately to pretend that younger generations are struggling because of liberal parents & not take a look at the Ronald Reagan, boomer-ass world they created

they hear the term ‘gentle’ and immediately assume that it’s about giving your child everything they want. and then they do no further investigating into gentle parenting practices

Because they don’t understand that “gentle” doesn’t mean “let your kid do whatever whenever”. But then again, they think beating their kids is appropriate, so can’t ask for any common sense from them…
