My dad told me about a time where he misplaced his entire tax return (10k) because he was hiding it before going on vacation. This man doesn’t believe in banks. He fr found it a month later in a chip box (one of the variety packs). He said he remembered why immediately after, “if someone’s coming to my house to rob me they shouldn’t be getting hungry in the middle of the robbery”. So my #1 rule is always check the chip box. I’ve never hid anything in there, it’s just a funny habit at this point
