weed and my brother said he is telling my parents how (r slur) my bf is. My brother and his gf have this ego over him being an anesthesiologist resident and a dental student. I feel so down and hurt idk what to say.

Ok so parents are out in terms of getting them to check their son but I would definitely at least lower contact with him and his gf and tell him you expect an apology to you and your bf. Honestly if they’re both in medical fields and acting like this they’re not gonna have bright careers ahead of them because that’s horrible to say to anyone. If they’re willing to say that to you and your bf imagine what they’ll say to patients!

I don’t know if my brother and his gf will apologize, his gf was side eying him the whole time. I’m just sad about all this and I just got a new bf too. Now I will have to hear from my parents too how my bf is an idiot, he is also not in shape so I know my brother is automatically looking down on him for that.

Why do I get the feeling that their definition of “idiot” is “not in the medical field”. Start separating yourself from your family now because this is toxic ass behavior and you deserve better than to be dealing with this.

My family will be mad about the weed, my bfs in school as a finance major and I am majoring in business too! That’s easier said than done but after my bf left, his gf started tearing him apart. My brother also made a joke he looked like one those drug addicts and he can’t take care of himself.
