can someone pls tell me a good foundation and setting powder that genuinely works for dry skin?? and do not tell me that infaliable Maybelline powder cause it literally sucks for me also idc about the price i just want it to make me look like a filter

if it says “hydrating” or “glowy” it should be good. as for powder i love laura mercier, but i don’t know how it does for drier skin. i’d also make sure you have a really good moisturizer and a primer that doesn’t dry you out

the glossier stretch fluid foundation and the huda beauty powder work really well on me!

You might want to avoid powders if your skin is still dry with a proper moisturizing skin care routine. Or, strategically place setting powder only in areas that aren’t as dry (like forehead, chin, nose). What is your skin care routine like and do you drink much water?

Yeah idk like some days my makeup looks flawless and not caked at all even tho i use powder but other days it is separating like crazy. For my skincare, i only use moisturizers (triple repair la roche), sunscreen (blue lizards but just bought avene) and lastly hydrating facial prep mist (milani)

i use a different one everytime i finish one but recently it was foaming garnier micellar cleanser (which im not buying again it was horrible) but now im using korean one called rovectin

Definitely avoid foaming cleansers if you can, they strip the natural oils from your pores and dry you out. I use the cerave cream cleanser (it’s in the lime green bottle) and it helps a ton

i’d avoid matte primers. i personally loved the elf power grip primer and it wouldn’t dry out my skin
