Hey so misogyny isnt quirky. Its about what it meant about girls when we were younger. Kids are taught from a young age that girly things are equated to weakness. So therefore if you liked pink (girly) you were weak.

I remember getting bullied my boys for liking that color. And sure bot a big deal now, since back then we were all kids… but it goes to show where misogyny starts.

Uhm no. They were. We all were. And luckily i have broken away from internalized misogyny to realize WHY i refused to wear pink (to which i really loved and STILL love.) Hence why i said it was never about the color, it was about the way were demonized for even LIKING girly things. If I were you, I would maybe work on your own internalized misogyny a bit. Its not quirky and different, or in your words “I’m not like other girls.”
