it’s fighting evil with more evil. makes 0 progress and would only serve to vilify women even more. the way to improve women’s lives and how men treat us is not to dehumanize them. by dehumanizing them, we excuse their behavior. it’s classic “boys will be boys”. it’s bullshit. we treat them as fully human so that they can be held accountable properly. by saying that cheating on men is good, we’re saying that their feelings don’t matter which gives them reason to feel the same towards us
