as a bigger girl, it’s so awkward being around women who act like being fat is like the worst thing ever 😭 they act like it’s their biggest fear and i just feel so awkward sitting there and having to listen to it 😭

This is such an ugly attitude to have. I’m wedding planning and I have friends in all shapes and sizes, so I plan to pick a general color palette and have the girls choose their own dresses. What works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another, and I want everyone to feel beautiful and comfortable. Plus dresses can be so expensive on bridal websites so if someone finds the right color on Amazon then so be it

what a shallow thing to do to a friend. also idk if this is me having a personal ick but i don’t get wanting to tell ur bridesmaids what SPECIFIC dress to wear. like a color scheme or a general vibe makes sense (ie all floor length and flowy skirts) but no one style is going to fit everyone well and make them feel confident and happy, and i would want my wedding to be joyful for everyone yk?
