one of the people in my irl friend group is this way and i *barely* tolerate him aka i do not interact with him unless absolutely necessary because otherwise i will say mean things and throw off the vibes for the whole group for a week but he didn’t vote because he didn’t care enough to + neither politician really fit his views, yesterday he said this to my friend who was upset about something politics related “Just dont pay attention to them and they cant make you mad”

and MIND YOU. he’s not even a white man and he’s lower class (i’m not saying this is a bad thing but im emphasizing that he is not privileged enough to not care!!!), his parents are on SNAP benefits and stuff that’s happening is impacting him, his family, and his gf
