If you’re open to it, sperm donation is an option. It’s definitely cheaper, less invasive, and less paperwork than adoption. I believe you get to kinda pick the donor based on traits like height, hair and eye color, etc. and donors have to pass rigorous background and medical checks so there’s not much worry about your baby’s health

However there is the moral dilemma of having to explain to your child that you didn’t know their father and the child will likely never get that opportunity, because there are legal safeguards in place to protect donor identities.
