We can’t say that we want husbands to be present, doting, and involved AND gripe when a man says “we’re pregnant” one or the other you gotta pick one.

idk i don’t think it’s too much to ask that a man actually puts in effort while also acknowledging that he’s not the one that has to go through pregnancy/birth 😭

Also I’ve notice anytime a man has said “we’re pregnant” or “we’re expecting” with a huge grin on his face it’s always men who are selfless and treat their wives like they are goddesses among men

Well that’s painfully obvious unless we have a few seahorse people running around. If the wife hast had a problem with it then let him say it. Trust me I’m sure she would have said something about it

I’m sure the man is aware that he is not actively pregnant considering the baby is inside his wife. Clear as day. It’s just a phrase meant figuratively and not literally

well if he can tackle that difficult concept as well as you’ve puzzled it out he should understand that not wanting him to say that doesn’t give him a get out of jail free card to not be a present father

Not your just pulling logical fallacies. Also shouldn’t it be up to the mother on weather he can and cannot say it? I’m sure it would have been brought up in conversation. So at that point you’re placing your own feelings over the pregnant woman while at the same time saying she is the person who matters most. So who does it effect more hearing “we’re pregnant” you or the mother?

did you just get back from bouncing your head off of some concrete your post literally says women can’t dislike that phrase without also sacrificing a man that cares about his wife and children 😭

it’s such an odd line to draw in the sand too. like if a man gets that upset he can’t say ‘we’re pregnant’ uhh i don’t actually think he was that great to begin with

It was mainly made with an air of sarcasm. Obviously it’s given that a father should be a good person. when a man wants to be involved with his wife and be supportive in the pregnancy and says “we” it’s weird to turn around and then yell at him for simply a term of phrase. Unfortunately you too have bounced your head on concrete if you’re simply going to take shit too literally when we have a whole section called “figurative language”

I’m not saying men are upset, I’m talking about women who aren’t pregnant getting mad at other people’s husbands
