My question is why tf do people pay for that shit? And how? Are their parents fr paying for them to fuck around? I be working a full time job while being a full time student i cant imagine having all the frat/sorority responsibilities too. Plus it just seems stupid to pay to party lmao.

it really depends. when you're not in it for prestige or connections you meet a ton of really nice people and have a lot of fun

they do price breakdowns when you're considering joining and it actually makes a lot of sense. especially when you live in room and board is cheaper than rent, plus you're paying for 3 meals a day 6 days a week and all the socials/purchases throughout the year (homecoming materials, free shirts for events, etc). also sorority members are typically pretty involved other places on campus!
