I think it’s a good foundation but it could use some alterations. Mixing, maybe playing around with plugins so it has more depth/fullness. Structurally I think it’s good! But the sound of the instruments used is kinda “beginner on garageband” esque, if that makes sense. At least to me, but I’m just some stranger on the internet so take it with a grain of salt 🤷‍♀️.

it’s fine. sounds decent but definitely had that just started music production a week ago vibe where the sound selection is kind of basic, the music is a little unfocused, and you haven’t quite found your style yet. keep at it and you’ll get a lot better. rooting for you!!!

Thanks! I've never played around with music and I definitely see where you're coming from with the "beginner on GarageBand" part. I got another comment somewhere else to remove the guitar and fix the drums so I'll be doing that later

No not at all so it makes sense why it sounds beginner. I really just needed a second set of ears to tell me what was wrong.

oh and one last thing. i would recommend spending some time learning to use a “real” daw on a laptop or desktop instead of a website. it’ll be hard and confusing at first but in the process you’ll learn a lot about music production, gather a lot of resources to learn more, and it’ll really open up the door when it comes to sound design, mixing, exporting tracks etc etc

well what kind of music do you listen to? what kind of gentes are you trying to make? i would recommend watching at least a basic youtube video on the fundamentals of music theory, as well as some stuff on basic drum programming to start with. then choose a digital audio work station that’s right for you (i can help point you in the right direction if you want) and just keep practicing making music and also listening to music with a critical ear trying to pick it apart and understand it
