Try reaching out to some of the groups if you know any of them. Being initially included is often a lot of reaching out and making plans! I think people (like me) often forget that making friends in adulthood can be difficult and many others are feeling just like you do

That’s how most friendships start out haha. But if you don’t want to talk to them specifically then reach out to those around you that you do know
