i don’t really understand catching foul balls and then giving them to kids unless you were catching it FOR the kid. if my dad caught one i’d totally expect him to keep it that’s been his dream since HE was a kid

i saw a vid where people were getting mad at a guy cause he caught a foul ball and didn’t give it to a completely unrelated child…i wouldn’t give it to the give either id put that on display 😭

It depends how old the kid is, and if they are into baseball. If it’s a 8 year old that’s really into baseball I would much rather him have some random foul ball over me. But if it’s just some random child that acts like they couldn’t care less I’d keep it. Those balls are really worthless, but like a home run to win a game in the World Series, screw the kid that can be worth some money.

The kid himself didn’t even look like he had any attachment to the ball. Kid just looked bored.

guys been waiting for that his whole life and this kid hasnt even gained consciousness yet, hell the parents probably sent him down to ask cause they wanted it, this is so stupid

I think you’re only obligated to give it to the kid if you realized you snatched it from above their head. If the kid was reasonably going to obtain the ball and couldn’t because a taller adult snatched it, the kid should get it.

Most people are estimating his age at 4 years old, looks bored af in the video, and is rumored to have been sent by his parents to ask for the ball. It’s speculated it was the parents that wanted it not the kid.
