Yes Im a marine biology major actually😭. Fish feel so much more than I feel what we’re almost taught to believe. They feel every vibration in the water, they feel being killed, they feel being dragged out of the water, they can’t even breathe. Fishing/hunting for sport is disgraceful in my opinion. Catch and release is no better either. The way sport fishers pollute the environment so much as well. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve removed fishing line from corals, even once a sea turtle.

I sigh every time I see a show or movie or whatever normalizing putting a fish in a plain, tiny ass fish bowl like can we not? It’s like putting a dog in an air tight crate but still giving it the proper food and water

BIG on your first comment abt cats. I used to hate them as a kid because I never had one, and every cat I interacted with was fucking evil. Like viciously attacking your feet just for walking down a hall. Now that I have two cats of my own I know they’re the sweetest babies ever but bad owners make bad pets :/ same obviously goes for dogs
