I have lived in the suburbs long enough. My next idea is either NYC (where I have family and is close to home) or DC (I have a bestfriend there). I can’t decide. I’m thinking one year in dc and 4 in nyc. Masters in dc and med school in nyc

Med school in nyc is insanely competitive but it’s great hands on programs. I’ve lived here my whole life and solan Kettering and nyu have been continuously saving my life for the last 8 years, they have med students around all the time

Winters here are definitely not for the faint hearted but honestly I prefer it over nyc summers. The humidity is too much for me 💔 I’m vexed every summer

I’m doing a post bac masters for many reasons. For 1 I don’t think my gpa is there yet (that’s just the main reason). Then I’m in the process of getting diagnosed with adhd and it has genuinely made getting a bachelors very difficult. I also couldn’t get research hrs at all so I just need more time before med school. I want to just apply anyways and see what happens because I have a possible research opportunity that may start in 2 weeks but I don’t think I’ll get in a med school rn.
