It was crazy to see her rightfully downvoted in the og post and then repost with the comments off and get upvoted like this. Girl is dense. Focusing on the hypothetical child and not the real living woman is insane to me.

i think it was upvoted a lot cuz people generally think that adults have the responsibility in public spaces to help children in an emergency when their guardians aren’t around. but she was getting her panties in a twist over nothing lol

I kind of assumed the post she quoted was rage bait, saying you’d ignore a child in need just seems like some villain shit. incredibly wrong to tell children who to ask for help based on race, but if a kid asks you for help and you don’t know why, even if that was why, that’s not the kid’s fault??

im not shocked at all. every time we express our grievances as black women, when a white woman expresses her grievance in response to our own it overrides anything we have to actually say. And the upvotes on her REPOST versus the OG post, PROVES that they aren’t actually listening and dont care to.

The point the OG poster was making is “Don’t send your child to me solely because im black and cause of that you expect me to help.” They are not saying they truly wouldn’t help a child in need and the OG poster clarified this multiple times. Again, yall are further proving my point when i say YOU ARENT ACTUALLY LISTENING. Please for the love of God, stop proving me right, man. 🫩 Its genuinely breaking my heart atp.

completely understand if that’s what she meant, but the way she phrased it in the post itself unfortunately made it seem like she was a horrible person. my bad on not reading all the places where she specified meaning something much more specific than what she posted
