As a lesbian biggest advice is to go read the master doc bc literally a few months ago I identified as pansexual and now I know I’m 100% a big fat lesbian lmao

the masterdoc was written by a bisexual 😭 it’s really not that accurate and focuses on men way too much to be about lesbianism

Idk I still recommend reading it bc it genuinely helped me

i’m just saying it’s not really accurate to the lesbian experience since it was written by a bisexual. it personally did more harm than good for me so i don’t think it should be recommended to everyone, but if it helped you that’s great :)

Idk I just checked and I can’t see where it says she was bisexual. It helped me a lot bc I’m a victim of SA and will never be with another man no matter what but I was unable to figure out if that was bc I was a lesbian or due to trauma and reading the master doc helped with that and the shame a lot so I always recommend it as a starting point

if you google it a bunch of articles pop up. i also have sexual trauma so i get its very difficult to work through and maybe im misinterpreting your words so feel free to correct me, but making the choice to not be with a man doesn’t make you a lesbian, not being attracted to them does. personally for me it confused me even more bc it seemed like there were so many situations it brought up where it was still ‘okay’ to be attracted to men and still be a lesbian

Hmm idk about her sexuality bc all I can find is talking ab how she was questioning while writing it and that’s how she realized she was a lesbian but idk. And I was pansexual before and my partner is a woman so I’ve always been attracted to men. But I was sexually assaulted as a child and so being with a man has never felt right and since I was a child when it happened I have never been able to tell if I’m just definitely not attracted to men or if it was weird bc of trauma

Then it happened again a few years ago and I knew I never wanted to be with a man again but I still didn’t know if that was bc I was a lesbian or bc of trauma. And reading the master doc helped me realize that yes I can’t connect to men like that or want to be with them bc of trauma but I also just genuinely don’t feel like that towards them. I thought bc I was able to tell when a man was hot meant I was somehow still attracted to them but I’m just not. Not romantically, sexually, nothing
