It’s okay! You can always bounce back. Knowing what triggers you is valuable info so now you can regroup and strategize for what coping skills you can use next time 💛💛💛

I’m sorry you’re going through that. What kind of mental health support do you have? Those feelings are real and powerful but they are also temporary and you have no way of knowing how good things can get or what wonderful things you have to waiting for you in your future

When I think about the last time I was suicidal, it really hurts, but I also think about all the things I never would have experienced if I had acted on it. Even in those dark moments, all those beautiful things were waiting for me and they’re waiting for you, too.

Thank you <3 I got in a low place because my parents and I started family therapy tonight so they can learn about borderline personality disorder and the therapist made a comment that was so bad it sent me into a spiral

It sounds like it’s time for a new therapist - I know that’s a very misunderstood condition and I hope you’re able to find more supportive resources. You deserve better

Slipping up happens sometimes but that doesn’t erase the fact that you were still clean for 5.5 years that’s mad impressive!!

It was the first time we met him tonight and my parents went ahead and scheduled an appointment with him right infront of me. He made a comment about how I shouldn’t work with kids because people with bpd are too dangerous

Please don’t internalize that if you can help it - it’s unfair and untrue. You are not your diagnosis and you deserve support from people who want to expand your horizons, not limit them
