In every other country it is considered an “illness” and they over paid leave up to 3 months. USA says it’s completely normal no time off over 2 weeks and you’ll probably be fired!

From an employment perspective, it’s not covered by the ADA but it is covered by the PWFA and my employer pays short term disability for it.

no, because a disability is a way in which the body behaves not medically typically, and the most common pregnancy symptoms are medically typical. but i agree that more accommodations should be made for pregnant people.

I’m not sure if it’s considered a disability but there are certain protections you have. It is similar as we cannot be discriminated against. On a side notelittle sister is special needs and gave me her handicap tag so I don’t have to trek across campus when I park soo
