Does anyone else with an IUD experience yeast infections more? I feel like I’m going CRAZY since getting mine in

This is a documented side effect of both copper and hormonal IUDs. They can change your vaginal flora, decreasing necessary bacteria, which allows yeast to over grow. It doesn’t mean you have to get your IUD out, but you may need to have more intentionality about your vaginal flora. Wear 100% cotton underwear, only wear liners when bleeding, wash your vulva with only water or mild unscented soap, stay hydrated, use condoms, limit sugar intake, and talk to your doctor about a probiotic.

Lmao not that it matters but I’ve gotten two in the last 6 months compared to my entire life of having ZERO. I got my IUD placed 10 months ago. I’m VERY clean and have had 0 complaints. Get fucking ratioed
