christmas is always so stressful for my mom and every time i try to make her feel better/lighten the mood she bites my head off and i'm sick of it like if it's that stressful maybe we shouldn't celebrate christmas anymore

last christmas my mom didn’t talk to me at all on christmas and i can’t even remember why but she refused to even acknowledge me for like 3 days and i cried

That’s why I just avoid my mom and do whatever I can to help that doesn’t directly interfere with her
