Safety laws are put in place when something has been noticeably causing more harm than a certain threshold. When will we cross that threshold with frats? When another hundred women are raped? When another hundred men are killed or debilitated by hazing?

The lack of safety laws. Frats should be banned. Being in a frat increases your chance of being a rapist by 300%. Now if something causes a 300% increase in violence and torture, it should be addressed and regulated or banned

I mean I would have a complete ban of the practice of Greek life (sororities too because you can’t just ban one). Dismantlement of all chapters. Ban Greek life parties, make it a misdemeanor or felony for continued violation with heavy fines and jail time. Prosecute any charter that is not taking personal investigation into any criminal activity

Also prosecute and dismantle any charter that is found to be allowing criminals to continue to be a part of their frat, or those who help side in protection from prosecution of these crimes, all of this would go towards pledges, active members, and alumni. It will never happen because of the amount of rapist frat alumni politicians in power
