you gotta have a bit more nuance than that. people who go into the military still chose the military, and when they get deployed they’re still responsible for their actions. the military preys on poor people through promising a way out and constant propaganda. but lots of people are poor and lots of us have seen the propaganda and still choose not to kill people or think furthering us imperialism is somehow a noble cause
