as someone who’s been in this situation it’s very hard when ur in it. You have feelings for them and because of it you think if you try hard enough you can get them to change. It takes a lot to finally realize that the only reason they aren’t changing is because they don’t care and it’s tough to accept for most people

ive also been in this situation myself. but i realized its a bit unfair to people around you to constantly stress them out and put them on that emotional rollercoaster and rejecting all help.
