My gyno looked at me at 19 after I voiced concerns abt extreme bleeding and constant irregularities, hating my lack of figure, no tits no ass all acne. No testing. No internal view. NOTHING. Slaps me on a generic BC pill and says I may be just infertile. NO TESTING AT ALL WHAT SO EVER AT 19. IM 25 AND I STILL BELIEVE THIS BC WHAT ELSE AM I TO DO

i didn’t have to get the insertive ultrasound just the topical one bc of this so i’m not complaining. my mom and i have the same doc though and she had her right before me so that’s awkward but anyway

I’m 22 now and when I was a sophomore in HS I had a cyst on my ovaries which stopped my period for several months before I finally told someone. When I finally told my mom, my dad took me to a dr who asked me if there was any chance of me being pregnant. I said no and he said “are you sure?” Bitch, yes! I’m still a virgin now and I’m 22! I literally had to look at my dad and when he said no, the dr believed him…

literally was at a pre study abroad appointment and the lady was insisting i bring my own condoms abroad. i kept telling her it wouldn’t be an issue and she kept saying “well you never know” i do in fact know that im not going abroad to have sex for the first time????

No I’m Lowkey kinda stupid but I didn’t realize i could get a whole different office. Like I knew the one office me my sister and mom went too. Still do. It’s covered ig. But we have shit insurance I had to drive home from college if I got sick typa care. And the only other dr is Indian and I am really bad with accents. So now I have less than a year before I’m off theirs so I might as well wait before I get my own and actually have the time to hop around doctors for one who cares

Seriously! I say I’m a virgin and supposedly for a 14-15 year old to say that is crazy. But her dad can say she’s a virgin and that’s believable… right. Because my dad definitely knew everything I did in high school. He’s definitely the more trustworthy source 🙄

My women gynos have all been NUTS 😭 one even refused me care because I “probably have never had sex with a MAN” so nothing could actually be wrong. Told me that period pain isn’t real because the [cervix] doesn’t have nerve endings. (Except she refuses to use the proper anatomical terms for anything and just refers to everything down there as “your donut hole”) I have a gay man as a gyno now and he’s a fucking godsend. Listens to me and is open and honest about everything.
