I’m probably biased because I was delivered by a male gynecologist and my mom went through a really bad pregnancy and he was the only one that actually stood up for her

your experience is clouding your judgment and making you either unable or unwilling to see how dangerous men in this specific field can be towards women. it’s great your mom had a good experience. that is not how it goes for many women. atp i think you just want to keep living in your bubble where this isn’t an issue

idk how many times i have to say this convo is SPECIFICALLY about gynecology. yes the problem of men abusing their female patients would totally be solved if men weren’t doctors. maybe in a fantasy world that could happen. that’s not a realistic solution tho. im also so confused by your own logic - you’re biased in thinking men can be good gynos, but you’re alright with the idea of them not being doctors at all?
