like medicine implies it gets better eventually and your eyesight only deteriorates as you get older so like, WHERE did you even get that idea???

in case anyone wants to know: nearsightedness and farsightedness are caused by slight errors in the shape of the eye, so glasses have a specific curve to them (that’s the “prescription” part) to get the light to refract differently and thereby correct your vision. the fuzzy vision comes from the shape of the eye causing the light to reach the inside of the eye in the wrong spot

Would you say there’s medicine in contact lenses, or at least in the solution they’re kept in to keep them moist and prevent irritation?
