Can i have some advice please. I got broken up with by the LOML two months ago, I was doing better emotionally for maybe two weeks. Then BAM. I sob myself to sleep, and I wake up with a hole in my chest. I know healing isn’t liner, but I can’t do this.

No one died but you’re technically “grieving” the relationship sometimes it’ll hit you out of nowhere. You need support! Humans aren’t made to be in pain alone 😢 assemble the girl friends and have a fun day to distract yourself, be with your loved ones etc

I don’t have much advice but I’m going through the same thing. I try to keep myself as busy as possible throughout the day but at night when I have nothing to do and no one to talk to it’s really hard. Especially when I have vivid dreams of us reconciling and then he’s not there when I wake up

Because our brains can’t differentiate between someone dying and a breakup, the grieving phase will probably last a while for you. It’ll hurt, but maybe you could try sitting with your emotions for a bit every day. Just give yourself some time to feel, especially since you’re doing everything else I’d suggest lol

I’ve tired! I gotten into a hobby and I go out with the girls, but I just end up missing him. ATP I just want to go home.

I will say that writing down my thoughts and talking to friends/family/therapist have helped a lot with processing these emotions because I pretty much think about him all the time

Thank you sm! I also have dream about him, and I think about him 24/7. It’s hard when I don’t know anything about him anymore. It’s also hard when I don’t know is I’m gonna see him on campus. We don’t even wave hi, just walk past each other.

Ugh yeah I completely relate to this. If you ever need to vent I’m here, I know how hard this is to go through
