no offense to vegans but why go to a bbq restaurant and get mad when there’s almost no vegan options? like our main thing is meat bro ofc there’s bacon in the collards and the green and baked beans ur only safe bet is the salad with nothing on it

Tbf I imagine more often they’re getting dragged to places like this rather than deciding to go, still yeah no excuse to be surprised or upset idk why people get that way. Maybe they’re hangry

like vegetarians i feel bad for cuz they didn’t know we have bacon in the beans but at least they can eat the potato salad and the other sides

gluten issues too we don’t have separate fryers and we genuinely just cannot promise full safety because we have lots of fried items which mean flour and that gets in the air super easy so we can’t say the food isn’t gluten contaminated

As someone with family members who have celiac disease, that transparency is really appreciated in a restaurant! We’d rather have to go somewhere else than risk them getting glutened :)
