My understanding from watching social interactions in the Midwest cities is that it’s generally been acceptable for women to wear revealing clothing/no underwear on average between the ages of 16-35. Gen-Z women in the Midwest do have a German/Spanish fascination with borderline exhibitionism and that’s fine, I think what we’re most likely seeing is the fallout from clashes between that culture introduced by later immigrant waves and the original puritan culture in the US.
