Like he makes a metric fuck ton of money, but she has to ask for permission to spend anything. And if she doesn’t, he gets angry. He likes tracks her spending and questions everything she buys and says things are too expensive

She really wants a specific purse and I told her to buy it, but she said my dad would see so she can’t. So she asked if I could buy it and mail it to their house so it’s on my card and addressed to me. Really breaks my heart

He’s always been weird about money. He never spends anything. I’ve never gotten any help with anything involving money, but he makes at minimum $200k a year. But he won’t ever say how much he makes so I feel like it could be even more. My mom has a small business and feels like she can’t ever buy anything for herself if it’s not in cash

Dude my family life is so fucked up. I’ve been emotionally neglected my entire childhood and now that I’m grown up and moved out, seeing this from an outside perspective is really painful but also…I’m done trying to fix yall
