I didn’t tell them my new insurance they just said oh you’re on STATE MEDICAID so the whole world can hear I’m unemployed and I was like yes… but I didn’t give them my card. so how did they know and how would insurance find out I’m paying cash when my previous private insurance didn’t know that was happening

there’s a patient database for medicaid and a lot more rules because of the fact that it’s a government payor. it’s annoying for all parties involved trust me.
