If you’re a door dasher and you pick up somebody else’s order and deliver to them while you have my food and it takes an extra 30 minutes, I am actively hoping for the worst for you

doordash is honestly such a scam. let’s focus our energy on them and not the dashers who are just doing their best, OR the consumers who just want the service they paid for

I used to do it they quite literally don’t have an option and if they decline they can lose benefits. get your lazy ass up and get it yourself atp.

I don’t have a problem with them picking up the food, I have a problem when they deliver it to the other person first and trust I would’ve gotten it but my car is a shit box and in the shop

they don’t get an option in delivery order is what I’m telling you. and the more orders you do at once makes it more worth your time. after gas and depreciation there’s barely profit to be had so “hoping the worst” on them for trying to maximize their earnings especially in this economy makes you a bitch. just don’t use the service because that’s always going to be a possibility since it makes more sense for both the restaurants and the dasher

Beats me I’ve never delivered. But my friends tell me it can take time for the orders to be ready and that’s usually what takes the longest. No idea though 🤷‍♀️

Girl the restaurant was close to my place and I’m fine with them picking up food but they delivered it on the other side of town in the opposite direction. I was just upset my food wasn’t warm when I got it. Trust I’m not actually spending my energy wishing the worst on people I was frustrated because that was a stupid thing to do
