This makes sense if you think about it though…? Like yeah it wasn’t a gender war back then, that implies two sides actively fighting against each other. Women were just pummeled back then, now that we can punch back, yeah it’s a war

Dawg #1 is correct. Before it was simply oppression and at not point did they or I are against fighting for complete and total equality. Just that idea started gaining more traction around the world pretty recently and that recent fight is what made it a war.
