well they’re not going to straight up tell y that part, either way I think this is more an issue regarding actual posting on TikTok. You should be fine if you’re just lurking and not commenting or a content creator. And it doesn’t seem like a transactional thing for Tik tok shop… its much scarier than that

Looking through it, it does say in big bold letters “we don’t profile with the information we collect” And when it references sexuality ect. It’s talking about things you disclose in your content. I remember back in 2019 there was the highlights page/trending hashtags page and they had #celebratingqueercreators so I believe that’s what it could be talking about so it can field content in the explore page or search

I’m not naive. If someone wants to delete the app because of security concerns I won’t think they have a tinfoil hat. I do believe that the immigrant status line is a red flag and those in that status should delete the app considering the current situation going on in our country
